The New SelfInvestors.com is Live!

Finally! The new SelfInvestors.com is live and the blog has a new Wordpress home.

Moments ago I wrapped up the finishing touches on what has been the biggest upgrade for SelfInvestors.com since I first began this site over 3 years ago.  After 8 months of designing, testing, tweaking, honing.. then doing it all over again I'm thrilled to say that SelfInvestors.com is getting very close to the site I envisioned when I first set out on this journey.  Minutes ago, I finished the final transitioning of data, uploaded the new home page and am ready to see what the next 3 years brings.  Frankly, I'm not sure if I can handle the stresses of another upgrade like this one EVER again!  What I do look forward to is focusing 100% on what I really enjoy doing - the research.  The research to keep you on top of the market and bring you profitable oppportunities along the way.  I hope you'll continue to join me.

I did want to spend a few minutes giving a better description of the new site, the new features, what's still to come and the general direction of where this site is headed.  The goal with this major upgrade was really to provide a more consistent, better user experience.  What that meant for me was housing all information under one roof - bringing the blog over to my SelfInvestors.com using Wordpress; creating a consistent design and theme throughout the site, integrating the latest and greatest in content creation software with the backend customer management software and dynamic tables of the premium area.  It's a very complex integration, so I'm very happy with the way it's all come together.  With that comes the potential for bugs, which I hope you'll notify me if you run into any.  I think I've caught most of them by now :)

While the main goal was design and integration, I still added a few new features that I think adds a ton of value to the service.

::::: IPO Center (Available to Gold/Platinum Members).  The old system provided stocks and ETF tracking but I've always wanted to keep closer tabs on the best IPO's coming to market.  I was finding that some of them were slipping under my radar.  No longer will that be the case. http://selfinvestors.com/tradingstocks/premium/ipocenter/

::::: The Mail Bag. In the Mail Bag folder you will find a complete archive of some of the best questions and my answers from members over the last 3 years.  I highly recommend reading through all of them when you get the chance.  There are some great questions in there, some of which I get quite often.  You can go to the Mail Bag folder to view them at http://selfinvestors.com/tradingstocks/category/mail-bag/

::::: Video.  As soon as I learn how the heck to use my video editing software, I'll begin posting tutorials, tips & tricks and chart analyis through video presentations.  Taking you through the screens in this format is 10x better than written tutorials.  I was hoping to have the tutorials ready to go at launch, but I just couldn't delay this any longer.  This is something I'll be working on over the next couple of months.

::::: Pricing & Membership Options. New products offer much more flexibility.  I now offer acess to all the tracking areas (stocks, etf's and ipo's) for just 19.95/month.  At the other end I've added a higher end real time service for 99.95/month.  This is a service I'm very excited about and will offer access to me and and many other traders throughout the trading day in real time via the Telechart Platinum service.  Throughout each day we'll share trade setups, discuss charts in real time, discuss the current state of the market., etc.
